"In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." Since then, a small delegation of resilient entrepreneurs has continued to dream of a day when little boys and girls of good moral character rise up to become heroes in their communities. | D.R.E.A.M. Leadership Academy is an innovative, 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization operating in San Antonio, Texas. Its purpose is to provide measurable impact in underserved and impoverished communities. Veterans, educators, and servant leaders are encouraged to become a mentoring "Coach" in our "Hometown Heroes" program. This 8-week, rite of passage program includes youth mentorship and economic development - created for students wishing to affect positive change in their lives and the lives of others in nearby communities. The most impactful student participants are eligible to earn a Tau Mu Delta service scholarship, awarded semi-annually. Awardees are notified upon verification of successfully completing their Season and submitting a TMD scholarship application.
